A friend of ours is setting up his own business as a plumber, and needs a showroom.
He has kitted his own bathroom out with beautiful travertine tiles on the floors and walls, and is inviting potential customers to look around.
It looks amazing, and I have joked that if he needs another showroom, he can do our bathroom as well.
Any customers he gains are obviously allowed to choose any type of tiling they want, but I don’t think any of them will choose anything other than travertine tiles once they have seen his bathroom. Continue Reading »

My brother and his mate are starting up their own business fitting bespoke quality bathrooms.
I am helping them research different items and materials so they can put together a catalogue of ideas for customers to browse.
We have come across the most amazing material, and I can’t believe I haven’t come across it before. We have found travertine, which can be used for flooring tiles, wall tiles, wash basins, shower trays and even baths. Continue Reading »
One of my most stylish friends had just had a new bathroom fitted and it looked great.

The only thing that is keeping me sane at the moment is the vision of what my bathroom will look like when the builders are done.
I was inspired by a friend who had recently fitted a new kitchen and had used the most fabulous travertine tiles. Continue Reading »

I think I am going travertine crazy.
It all started last year when we had to choose some tiles for our bathroom floor. We came across some travertine tiles, and they look fantastic.
When it came to having our kitchen redone, we went for travertine again, for the walls and floor. We had been so happy with the bathroom floor; it seemed like the obvious thing to do.
The floor felt such good quality, and I know it is going to last and last. After all, the Colosseum in Rome is built from travertine, and we all know that’s been around for a few years. Continue Reading »
